track lighting compatibility?

Hi all,

there seems to be a huge range of track lighting available - it's single circuit 240 v stuff i am interested in . . . . anyone know if the different brands are compatible with each other?

I have alot of tracks alread from saxby - and am wondering if that means I have to buy spots from them too . . . .

There are no particular standards - that means you'll need to get the lights from the same maker as the track.

and each manufacturer tends to change its design every 2 months or so...
