Always like to see their guarantees of these 'web-directory' companies: what if you don't get the amount of vallid enquiries, do they guarantee your money back?

As for rep: tell him to give you the money back guarantee on paper or otherwise leave you alone.

no one who has a website can g'tee how many enquires you will get.

people may look at your website, but that does not mean they will enquire, better off (and cheaper) to make your own website.

yup had about 3 enquires only one been a paid job the other was a guy who didnt know what he wanted and the other was an email from sombody asking advice.

can you cancel the £30 a month subscription???

sound a bit like 118 trades.

i read an intresting article in a readers digest in the dentists once. It was the 10 points of business and it was written by anita roderick (body shop women) she said that the majority of money spent on advertising by small busineses was wasted as there was too much advertising out there already.

In this day and age there is so much advertising that it is better to stick to the tried and tested ones. we get ones offering us wonderful results in their new magazine/website/listing their launching. I always ask them why should i pay money to an unestablished advertising method that may not be around in 6 months. Never get a straight convincing answer.
