OK, Im not sure if i should put this here, or where to look for the info so bear with me.
I am currently re-training to be an electrician to C&G 2391 level, its a distance learning course, so I do the theory, and fun bit like reading the regs at home, then do some assessments and then a practical week, of which there are three.
So far I have completed the first week, which is the essential electrics meaning I have been deemed competent to do non-notifiable works etc.
I am however having a small issue getting further, I had the second week booked last year, then had a motorcycle accident, so couldn't attend, this year I booked it, and the company cancelled it (original trainer going into administration, takeover etc) this would see me trained to part P standards, but not self cert (thats the 3rd week)
I currently work in a school, so am finding it difficult to get time of during term time to do the course, So what I am looking for (and asking about on here) is where to find jobs for trainee electricians, somewhere I can learn, and work at the same time.
I live in Yeadon, Leeds if anyone knows of any going.
