Transfering Tracks to Hard Drive

Want to transfer tracks from a CD onto My Music on Hard drive, how do i do that?
I've tried drop n drag, but it dosnt put the full track onto hard drive just some type of short cut.
Any ideas???

If you have windows media player, it will be done from there, called 'rip'

So what do you do, rip it from CD drive into my music?

As long as you have your "my music" folder selected as the destination in options, rip music it should do this. Which version of media player do you have?

Dunno it came on Laptop when bought it a year ago

So this gives us basically 3 options

either

A: - You have a look
B: - spark123 magically guesses the right version
C:- see A

Open a media player, you probably have one look in programme files. If you don't have one download"real player" its free. Install it, start it load your cd and tell it to copy it or rip it. It will then convert it to mp3 and save it in your chosen folder.
