Transformer For Mirror Light

Hi all,

I have 3 bathroom mirrors with sensor lights, 2 of which have failed...I suspect the third is incoming.

I'd like to replace the transformer for sensor switch on all of them, but I can't seem to find an exact match for the part.

Would this work?

You need to locate and compare the IR switch, transforming the voltage down from ac to dc is separate

And you’re certain it is that part?

Your Amazon link looks appropriate, assuming that the sensor fits your hole, the wires are long enough, etc.

It’s confusing that the printing on your existing part seems wrong; it says nothing about containing a relay for the sensor switch. Yet clearly it does, based on the wires going in and out.

That "part" seems to be a 12 V Power Supply for 20 W to 60 W Halogen lamps.
(At least, that is what is written on it - although you (annoyingly) posted the photo sideway!.)

Is that Power Supply supplying all three sensor lights?
If so (and only two have failed) it is unlikely to be that Power Supply
BUT
the respective Sensors.
