transformers

I am replacing a single light fitting with 4 low voltage downlighters, I have a transformer for each downlight, I intend to replace the original rose with a junction box, the transformers have me puzzled.
They have 4 wires, a live and a nuetral, which I assume go to the junction box to get the live feed, the other 2 wires from the transformer are both red, I am right that they go to the downlights?

If thats what the instructions say !

have to agree, transformer needs 4 wires. 2 in 2 out
