This is just a precaution, lest in a couple of years time there are no dead topics for newbies to resurrect and hijack. A kind of Blue Peter time e-capsule if you will, but DIYnot style.

So, on to the problem...

I had a dripping tap, and I fixed it by replacing the worn washer.

I considered replacing the tap with a more modern ceramic disc type, but decided against it for now.

This week, I are been mainly eatin' artichokes.
 
1. need link to washer spec and supplier. 2. any tips on coping with trapped wind?
 
1. Holdtite 1/2". *No known link. Available at all good merchants.

2. Better out than in.
