Hi
I have a paved front garden bordered to the front and 1 side by small 5/6ft fire trees of some discription. I have gotten a quote front he local council to install a dropped curb.
The boundery from the garden and path is bordered by these trees. should I remove the trees before having the curb done as they will tarmac across the footpath to the boundry of my garden.
I am concerned that when i remove the trees, it will disturb the tarmac.
How do I go about removing them? should they be cut down then dug out, or would it be easier to dig them out whole?

I'd dig them out now. Trim the branches then dig them out whole, That way you can use the trunk to get some leverage.
