I have a Trianco TRO 15/19 oil fired boiler which runs for a few minutes and then the amber (excessive heat) warning light comes on and the boiler shuts off. After some hours of cooling down the boiler will fire up again, but after a few minutes it overheats.
The floor tray of the boiler is full of water. I can't find any leaks from the inlet or outlet water pipe connections. I assume a leak is causing the overheating.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where the water is coming from?
Many thanks.
