Trickle down don't work

There are lots of wealth taxes already - council tax, savings interest, capital gains etc etc.

I doubt that Labour are going to cut income or corporation tax as a result of introducing new wealth taxes. This is just an orchestrated campaign for more tax, idealists like that advertising bloke are just being used as tools to achieve that.

Trickle down definitely works, given that rich people definitely buy goods and services from less well-off people.

Obviously more money trickles up than down, that's just basic economics.

The degree to which it happens can be debated, but it definitely works.

The best way for an economy to work well is to ensure that people can afford to buy the products.

Then more money will be made.

Not really a good analagy, I can afford lots of things as everyone else can but dont buy them, you have to add desire or need into that recipe for success.

Blown out of the water again, I am struggling to see a post of yours that has ever come right for you, embarrassing isn't it.

Tax should in principle be based on transactions not wealth. Static wealth is the net result of income or capital which has by definition already been taxed, in some cases several times over.

Just been in Marks and spencer food hall -- it was packed at 7pm, turkeys can be had for £120, I dont see any cost of living crises there.
