Hi,
I have a Trident Exel gas fire.
It's been working fine till recently however now, after about 20 minutes it goes off. You also hear a slight pop when this happens. The fan still operates even thought the fire has went out.
Its not used that often only for short periods during the winter
Once the fire cools down you can reignite it however it will only operate for a short time and go out again.
I have removed the coals and cleaned around the thermocouple which was quite clean with no buildup on it.
I fully appreciate that this is CGI territory and have no intention of disconnecting anything however would welcome opinions on what could be causing this and approx cost of repair.
Thanks in advance
