Hi all,

I have a Triton Ivory shower, that has been great up until now. When you turn the shower on, nothing happens,
The power light does not light up and no water comes out.
The unit does seem to hum thought as if power is going to the unit.

I have also notice that the orange pressure indicator shows orange all the time, even if the unit if off.

Has anyone got any ideas to the problem?

Any advice would be most welcome.

Thanks

Banksey.

Firstly, do not!!!! turn it on again. Electric showers rely on cold water running through the elements to cool them. No water = big bang. (The elements shouldnt work without water running but cant be too sure).

A couple of thigns to check.

Outlet pipe or head blocked.
Inlet strainer blocked. This will require turning off the water and inspecting the pipe into the shower. Where it turns plastic there will be a small metal sieve. This catched debris, as well as limescale!
