Hi had WB in to fix broken water pipe OS house only to find shower does not go to warm. It switches from hot to cold with no recycling. I've checked flow rate by turning dial with head off but cannot see much/if any difference.Ps note Shower was not turned off from FSU like boiler was when repair was fixed so COULD THIS CAUSED PROBLEM? It has in past dropped pressure if taps are run delsewhere but rarely. Any clues ps? Thanks

just had a look inside sand it seems element looks to have burnt out judging by the R brown wire..... So new shower is needed. I would like easier transfer as possible with no plumbing. Can anyone ps recommend a shower with same inlet and if possible same screw holes? Ps remember this is a Mk 1 opal. Thank you

The heating element hasn't failed just the cable has burnt due to a bad connection with the spade connector. cut back if you can fit new spade connector or new section of wire.
