Triton Opal permanently hot

Hi,

The temperature dial no longer works when the shower is on setting II - it's just permanently very hot. I've started using setting I, and the dial works fine.

I've recently descaled the shower head, and the hose is only about 6 months old.

Any ideas what it could be?

have you checked the mains stopcock is fully open.
the shower inlet filter is clean.
run it without the head on is it still the same ?

hi there,

it was fine without the shower head on, so I took the whole thing apart and descaled it again. I think it must have been screwed on too tight, blocking some of the holes.

many thanks for your help - I can now wash my hair properly!
