shower was working fine until i purchased a new head. Did not know that the head had an off position so water started coming from the overflow of the shower. Now water will not stop coming from the overflow even though water is pumping from the shower. water from the overflow increases if the shower pipe is raised. Sounds from the shower indicate air in the system when temperature is increased.
Can anyone advise as to how to sort the problem

Hope u read the note how to fix .the problem was caused by a non genuine,noncompatible part.take the shower head back & use the old or get a new one off triton while u buy the relief ball. if the shower head switchs of the unit is not made withstand mains pressure. the new head could even blow thw new valve if there is not enough flow through it.

fwiw: its also a fairly bad idea using the shower until the relief valve is changed.
