purchased a triton shower 9.5kw. its losing its heat while we are in the shower. one minute hot, next its cold. triton say there must be 9 litres of water goes through the shower per minute. does anyone know the setting we should test this. When we did it at number 5 we only had 4 litres then when we tested it at 0 we got 10 litres in the minute. if anyone knows we would really appreciate it as this shower is only 3 weeks old. thank you.

on the lowest setting.

has it been like this since it was installed ?

you got to lower flow.
is the stopcock or any isolation valves on the pipework to the shower fully open ?

the isolation valve is fully opened and it has been like this since we bought it.

we ran the shower with the sprayhead off, into a bucket for one minute. Once at normal temp then cold temp. bucket was marked in litres.

i think your boardering on the line of to lower flow.

if your convinced you have enough flow triton will come out free of charge if its found its not a shower issue they will charge.

have you had an electric shower on the mains water before or is it a total new install ?
have you thought about a tank fed electric shower the flow won't be an issue ?

we have had 2 showers made by triton. one for 15 years, 8.5kw and one for 2 years, 8.5kw and now this one. we never had any problems with them.

sorry but i'm still with the poor mains flow situation you have.

if your on the limit now it'll be even worse when someone uses a tap or toilet flushed etc.
