hello

please could someone give me some advice, my shower has been causing me grief since about march....there is sooo much water presure coming out of the head yet the low pressure light keeps coming on & giving me cold water Brrrrrr

i have read through soo many of the topics & have changed the solenoid valve (did not get it wet)& that hasnt stopped the problem, another remedy may be the inlet filter being blocked but i dont know where that is can anyone please please help me

thank you

i take it the cold indicator light is on to ?
have you checked your mains water pressure to the shower ?
solenoid valve will only be at fault if you have no water or won't turn off.

thankyou crocket

thankyou seco service....yes the cold indicator comes on & the low pressure light flashes & the water goes cold, i do not know how to check the mains water pressure but it does come out really fast.....any ideas???

when you say keeps coming on.
does it come on and stay on or is it coming on/off every few secs or mins etc.
or is it ok one day then the next its on constant.

sometime i can turn it on & it will work first time but mostly i have to turn it off & on (at the start button) about 5 times before it will stay on, also sometimes half way through a shower it will go to low pressure & turn cold

thankyou for your help seco service

remove the cover and check the stabiliser valve where it hits the micro switch on the bottom of the pcb.
check it making every time.

hi

just checked...there is a brown wire going into the pcb above the stabiliser valve is that it??

if so when it was wiggled the shower turns to low pressure & goes cold, there is another brown wire above & to the right & when that was wiggled the shower went back to hot

not really sure what you mean by "checking that its making every time"

thank you for your time, hopefully we will get there in the end lol
