The shower is fairly new (was fitted a while ago but we didn't use it for a year because of an electrical issue), so it might be manufacturing fault. Can't recall it leaking straight after installation though.

Everything inside looks clean and in order, no scale etc.

Would applying a thin layer of silicone where metal surface connects to the plastic help ?
Or were can get a replacement O ring for this part ? Most of the links elsewhere are about PRD/stabiliser/solenoid.

Thanks

Just asking the obvious, I take it there isn't a thread insert on the right missing?

Water leaking out onto live connections in an electric shower?

Ring Triton on Monday for the o ring.

The cutout has two 230v lugs on it, does it not?

Your funeral if you get it wrong, maybe literally.

If the thread insert has come adrift, surely the cover can't pull down on the O ring properly?
John :)

It only looks rusty, but seems to fix it in place firmly enough.

Forgive my ignorance, but is there any obvious reason why I can't use silicone to fix it?
