hello, i have trouble with one radiator in the house, ever since the plumbers fitted a new boiler and radiators and new pipework the lounge radiator never gets hot all over , it gets hot at the top but the middle to bottom gets loop warm cold, tryed balancing the rads but no joy , switched all rads off except this one still didnt do it , theres a automatic bye pass valve on the boiler(its a worcester bosch greenstar 28i) could this have anything to do with it.............
any information or advive would be a great help

Out of interest, did the people installing the new boiler do a power flush of the system?

no it didnt have a power flush , but to be honest i dont think this would be the problem because there should not be a lot off debris in the system being all new........

All systems new or old should be flushed when installing a new boiler all part of the boiler manufacturers warranty. You would be surprised how much surplus flux and solder could be in the system pipework.

i agree with you mate all new systems should be flushed too get the crap out the system but i dont think this is the problem , i think its down to the pipework or perhaps something too do with the auto byepass valve, its only a 5 rad system so it should be blasting around the rads ...........

Does the flow pipe get hot up to the valve? Have you checked the new valve is operating correctly
