Trump threatens to retreat from Iran

You do defend him a lot.

I just searched for you and the word 'Trump' and got ten pages of it. The only time I could see you critiquing him was when you agreed that his claim about people eating pets was a lie.

You seem to view him more positively than Starmer for example who you call 'stazi starmer'. Why do you hate our PM more than the US President?

The slow retreat of the MAGA (y)

Vocal and total support, waning through the nebulous "Some ideas were good" cop outs and, the endgame, quietly "leaving the chat" (no longer mentioning how they voted, just waiting for it to fade into the past like a drunken fumble).

Same is happening with Brexers and so, in time, will happen with Reform.

Populism is transient. Morals (true ones) far less so.

I thought you would welcome a ceasefire.
A ceasefire would be good

So far the supposed ceasefire isn't really happening and it seems the negotiations that took place were so amateurish that no one actually wrote it down.

I'm just not sure what you're trying to celebrate? The US/Israeli war has killed a load of Iranians, led to a global economic crisis, and increased both Iran's funding and the chances of them developing a nuclear weapon. Is that doing what needs to be done?

Nope

I dont criticise him as much as you would like because I dont really care - he is not our PM and I will leave the caring to others like some on here who are borderline needing to be reported to prevent over it - calling for his murder..

SIMPLE you dummy - because he is OUR PM. And dont make me make a list for for you of my reasons for joining most of the population who do not like him either..

And yet he manages to inflict greater damage to the UK than any of our home grown politicians.

What dummy supports that?

I dont support Trump - and its not a race as to who can inflict as much damage to the UK between trump and starmer
You yourself are seeing the effect starmer and reeves have had on your own life - no one wants to spend money on your building work
You seem obsessed with trump, trying to use trump as a distraction from starmer.

Tell me how my life has deteriorated since Labour have been is charge? It's hasn't.
Tell me specifically how your life has deteriorated since Labour got into power?
Much of this countries problems are down to 14 years of Tory corruption and incompetence, and Brexit, mostly Brexit.

Whilst trump is busy doing what needs to be done and giving a long overdue lesson to the rest of the world in how to do it.
The cherry on top is the predicted collective triggering, hissy fits the usual suspect lefties are melting into.
Blooming marvelous :giggle:
So screwing up the middle even more than it was already and causing huge economic problems all around the world was needed and was long overdue?

Lets not forget that right now paying the Hormuz toll would be breaching sanctions. So even if you had insurance, even if your shipping company was willing to take the chance that you'll be allowed out then it's only a tiny few organisations that will use the straights.

Hormuz will remain functionally shut until/unless the negotiations in two weeks make a difference.
