Trump says he is sending an 'armada' to Iran.

I have said several times before that I would like to see regime change in Iran. But only with a properly thought through plan. I don't think a simple decapitation will do the trick.

Also, I am concerned that Trump is only doing this because he was humiliated at Davos.

Was he humiliated in Davos? Someone needs to tell him, he hasn't got the message.

We sent an force to Irack and look where that got us.

He will mouth off but nothing will happen because of the complexity of middle east politics. Its not Venezuela.

This is just sabre rattling before the mid terms.

If I am wrong perhaps we should not let him use our bases, after all we did sod all in Affganistan, he wont notice the difference.

Most experts believe that, if you just kill off the Mullahs, Iran will end up with the Revolutionary Guard in charge, and that might well be a lot worse than what we have now. And if the RG fail to takeover, there will likely be a civil war.

I thought he's stated the armada was a cautionary move pending talks, which don't seem to have progressed.
