TRV extensions

I have been looking at radiator TRV tail extensions as I am installing new radiators which are a bit shorter (metric). I was going to get the rigid type but there seem to be a lot of the telescopic type available. I would be a bit sceptical of these but the comments about them seem to be generally positive. Are they as good as the rigid ones?

Do not use the telescopic type they are shyte and leak .

Thanks for that. These are the ones I had intended to use before I saw the telescopic ones so will stick with these and cut them down with a pipe cutter.

Cut with junior hack saw copper pipe cutter wont touch them

Right, I had wondered about that. I assume they are chrome plated steel? Thanks.

Chrome plated brass. Always managed to cut with a pipe slice. But I do have all my fingers

I notice that screwfix seem not to have any stocks, maybe they've discontinued them, but plenty on ebay!
