TRV4 "Presetting Key" to balance with lock shields open?

Amazing what some people believe!

I would never advise anyone NOT to use the traditional lockshield method of balancing rads in a normal installation.

Yes, the well designed TRV4s do include this feature. But in my view lockshields are easier to adjust for balancing.

I suppose one reason to use the TRV4 would be for the Polish builder tenants who like to fiddle. But not for normal tenants or owner occupiers.

TRV4 certainly doesn't self balance. Even I know this and I'm a mere DIY dick head.
