We are going for a new bathroom, and I like the idea of a 300mm shower head (along with a hand held one) but my wife isn't convinced about 300mm have enough guts to wash shampoo out etc.

As a result I was going to try and hook it up to our current shower to trial it whilst we are still within the returns period.

The issue is I think I would need a 1/4" to 1/2" male to male adapter.

Does anyone know where I could find one? A look through screwfix & google seems to bring up little?

Thanks

Are you saying that your current connection is via a 1/2" wall plate elbow?

Are you looking for a reducing nipple 1/4 x 1/2"? Plumb center should have some.

It is a Megaflow pressurised system, and this was just an adapter to bodge the great big 300mm shower head onto our current handheld shower handle so we can check the pressure/flow before the 'cooling off'/returns period expires for the big shower head.

The shower head itself has a 1/2" female thread on it, and I think the cheapy shower hose has a 1/4" (would that make sense?) female thread on it.

So it was just seeing if I could spend a few quid on an ad pater to test it out.

Cheers,
