Trying to match a paint/varnish finish on kitchen bench

Hi all

Hoping someone can help me with a little bit of a DIY disaster

I left a concrete planter on our kitchen bench worktop for several weeks, and hadn't realised that it had an ever so slight leak at the base. Upon moving the planter it left a very nasty black ring mark in the wood. I purchased a wood stain remover to try and remove it. It's definitely lightened it, but has of course removed the paint/stained finish.

Once I've got the stain out, or at least lighter, does anyone have any ideas how this sort of finish is achieved? It was done to match the colour/style of the kitchen worktops.

Thanks in advance for any tips!
Greg

In this last photo you can see the regular worktop in the bottom right, and some wear and tear on the end of the breakfast bar bench.
