I have a tumble dryer vented to through the wall to the outsode of my property.
I’m currently using a gravity flap.

Unfortunately people keep shoving take away leaflets and clothing collection bags into the vent cover causing me no end of stress.

I have fixed a sign informing them that my small 100mm square vent flap is not a letter box but my instructions go ignored.

Would a standard vent grill with an insect screen be suitable or would it create problems?

Fixed vent will be fine.
Don't get the type with the 3 flaps on - they will rattle in the wind and break off.

Well I’ve had the flap vent for years now and it’s been ok. My only problem is the leafelt people snapping the flaps off when stuffing my shaft.

What about lint, would that possibly block the flyscreen overtime?
