A neighbour has offered me eleven rolls of turf which are surpluss to what he wanted when he had it delivered last week.
He doesn't want any money for them, just to get the pallet emptied and off his drive.
There is plenty for a job I will be doing but I cannot lay it for about four weeks. Can I take up his offer and, if it will survive what should I do to keep it alive until I can lay it?
Thanks to the gardeners

Rolled up, the inside will die however you try to keep it.
You need to lay it out on soil, and keep it watered.
When you come to lift it, be careful as it will have started to establish roots.

Trazer,
Thanks for the reply.
I think I will give it a miss as I have no where to lay it out on soil until about another three weeks time.
