How strange. I was thinking that very thing earlier today. Off the top of my head: Radio Ga Ga, Video killed the radio star, On my radio. Have the twelve tracks got to be 'Radio' tracks?

Only line I can think of was on Brown Eyed Girl,,,,, "Goin down the old mine , with a transistor radio" Perhaps this is where you think the reference to radio is?
Heaven knows how a transistor radio would work down a mine though.
Dunno - I`m still waiting for my thermionics to warm up
