The remote control said Zigbee, but to program in Zigbee it says the light should be flashing and what ever I have tried no light flashes.

The idea was to control landing lights, the mid floor two way switch is not very accessible, due to stuff dumped in the hall, so original idea was a 5 x GU10 light fitting with centre lights colour changing and controlled by phone, i.e. connected to permanent line, and the other four connected to switched line, if possible using a moes or tuya unit so both a remote control or the switch could control.

However if we could switch lights using zigbee remote control it would remove need for moes or tuya unit.

However also looking at outside lights having them controlled by a moes or tuya unit, the existing PIR does not work very well, and tends to turn off outside lights at the most inopportune moment. So moving to phone control seemed to make sense.

Also having work done on the veranda which is leaking water into the flat below, so as yet not ready to alter outside lights, so as it stands flexible and can change how all controlled.

We started with energenie but had a few failures so moved to Lidi and zigbee, however Lidi is dependent on what is in stock, so forced to move to internet and selecting items to do the job, we got two GU10 bulbs which work direct with the Smart Life app rather than through the zigbee hub, which in some ways is good, but the smart life app is slow to boot up, so having a remote control which does not need the smart life app to boot up would speed up the switching on of landing lights to go to bed.

So we as it stands can swap where lights used and so there is some flexibility, the Remote control.jpg and Lidi-remote.jpg remotes have worked well, but the Remote1.jpg remote has been a failure, it does not seem to work anything. And I can't see my error, it said it was a gen 3 zigbee remote, but can't get zigbee to see it exists.
