thanks in advance for any help.
so i just want to attach extension to current living room ariel lead so i can move tv to other side of room!! ive bought the attached white cable could someone advise what other bits i need ie connectors please

where does the other end go - into a socket on the wall or just the cable into the wall - you will need a female and a male connector - so the female looks like the one in the TV but an inline one - whcih you add to one end of your new cable and plug the brown cable connector into that and then a male, like the one you have on the other end of the white cable to plug into you TV
OR - depends on whats on the other end of that brown wire your holding

There are adaptors F-plug to TV coax.

You may have been better off buying a pre made longer cable in the first place
