does anyone know if it is possible to get a drylining box that has two 2g boxes side by side? I know you can get 1G +2G side by side. Scolmore (click do a joining device but I think it only fits their own boxes, unless anybody knows different

Wouldn't it all start to get a bit wobbly to have one that size?

Maybe a noggin and some galvanised boxes screwed to it might be better...

It ain't worth it.

Just cut two separate holes with a 1" gap between them.

IMO it will look better
and
You'll then have the option of using fancy metal plate fittings if you want to. Those ready-made double box spacer thingys only work on plastic sockets etc.
Many metal fittings are wider than the standard plastic fittings.

Have used a single and a double with the click stuff.

The joining piece has flanges on it too, so wasn't wobbly.

Certainly useful where space is a problem.

thanks sparkwright
I shall have to try the scolmore boxes and joiner. If I can find a stockist in the norwich area
