Two extractor fans in one room?

The problem is a smaller pipe has more resistance to flow.

If your going to change it, use this stuff:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Extractor-B...&ie=UTF8&qid=1430927992&sr=1-7&keywords=100mm

Its a very long run, and you need to minimise the resistance as much as possible.

The thing is, the fan on the "out" pipe doesn't actually work right now!!! So its a bit of a dud pipe all round. I'm aware of the building regs but given we're living in the house right now, couldn't we remove it and then reinstall when selling?

Aside from sorting out the toilet ventilation, would it not have been easier to find the where the draught was coming from and seal it with expanding foam/gobbo rather than filling the floor with insulation??

Why not just do it properly now, rather than rip the carpet and floorboards up and do a load of work when you come to sell?

even if you don't fix the fan now, at least sort the ducting out now.

It's the only way to do it, it will save you time, and more importantly ££

How does your house not smell like turds at the moment?! Fix it now, and enjoy the clean air!!!
