Two pole switch for quietAir fan

Instructions say...
If in connection with the room lighting a two pole switch must be used.


So I have to switch Live and neutral. Why is that? I will still have a perm live.

I guess I will have to bring the neutral to the switch, then on to a three pole isolator?

What is the best way to wire it up.

That doesn't really make sense. If only for the purposes of isolation, why would a DP switch and 3P isolator be necessary? Unless of course you're referring to a switched fused connection unit, in which case that's a different matter, and was covered in depth very recently in another topic!
