I put in a two way dimmer switch. I can turn it on and off from one end. However, at the other end (not dimmer) I can only turn it off - not on. Help!

Downstairs switch
L2 BLACK
Comm GREY
L1 BROWN
Upstairs switch
L2 BLUE, assumed from supply-side
Comm GREY
L1 BROWN (x2), one from downstairs, one from supply-side
Question is: UPSTAIRS where do I connect BLACK which comes from downstairs (but pulled out of terminal when I removed switch to decorate) - since then I have to have the switch on downstairs to operate the switch upstairs (which is actually a dimmer, but worked previously)
Hi Masha , I have same problem , how did you resolve it? Thanks

stick it in L2 with the blue wire. these wires should have brown sleeving on them to identify them all as 'live'.
