Type of pipe joint to use close to boiler

Hi just wondering if anyone out there could help me. I installed an oil fired boiler central heating system a couple of years back and all the pipe joints within 2 metres of the boiler i did with compression. Is this best or can i use solder joints close to the boiler. The reason i need to know is that i intend to move the boiler over the next few weeks and would prefer to use solder joints.

You can use solder on the wet side but not the oil.
