I've got a condensation problem in my loft. It's insulated but I've made sure that the insulation does not run right to the edges of the loft blocking any airflow.
There are currently no soffit vents installed, so I plan to fit these. What I would like to know is do I also need to fit vents in the top of the (hip style) roof too or can I get away with just low level venting? I wonder if the air needs to be able to flow up and out of the highest point or if just soffit vents would be enough?
If I do need vents high up - how easy are they to fit (I've got standard red roof tiles) and where can I get them from?
Cheers.
