Tyres almost unfit for purpose?

I can't see a problem with only having grip with the driving wheels, the idea is to stop you getting stuck not to drive like Clarkson, if conditions are that bad you shouldn't be travelling fast enough to lose control of the vehicle. If the road is covered in ice nothing is going to grip - except snow chains.

I also have a nissan note 56 petrol 5 speed a shopping car and trips to the council tip great car, love it.
The tyre pressures can be reduced (only temporary) for extra traction,my polish neighbours always use this method when home.

Winter tyres,i have these on my skoda including a full size spare in boot and i must say they are so loud but they start and stop when i want them to do so.

Yes i have a 4x4 auto 3.6L a mean but cheap machine which loves petrol.

The v6 engine is so nice on summer tyres and its so silent.

Tyres, always buy the best.you know it makes sense.
