is there any substance i can use to get rid of some unwanted tyrolean splashes on my brickwork, ive tried brick acid but no good, cheers

If it's been on a while and acid wont shift it, very hard to say what will. Don't wire brush though, as you'll damage the brickwork, you'll probably know that anyway. Maybe others on here might have a solution.

A lot of the acids that you buy now are quite weak for safety reasons. If you can get some spirits of salts crystals and make up some really strong acid this should shift it. It needs to be strong enough to burn your skin so make sure you have adequate protection. We usually test it out on the hod carriers arm first.
