hi.i fitted a round draining board and needed to fit a waste pipe .i bought a kit for washing machine and dishwasher as this has 2 outlets on.my only problem is the kit is longer than my current setup .should i get a pipe to (about 3 inches long) so that it meets my main waste outlet.if i do and it fits this means more water will be in the u bend -would this be ok.ta !

I don't fully understand this one - sorry - but the volume of water in a 'U' bend is constant, irrespective of the pipe length leading from it.
