UFH and Outbuilding

Thanks Tony, i guess you suspected my liking for UFH, the combo approach is a good compromise. I was willing to let go UFH becaues I like wood flooring and realise that UFH/wood flooring is not an ideal combination so naturally thinking that by ditching the UFH I could go for the wood flooring, my head still saying that I should have UFH :-).

I guess it might come down to how desperate I am for the wood flooring.
 
UFH is fine for places like hospitals, libraries and old people homes where its is a near 24/7 heat requirement. Also retired and work at home people.

Some wood floor is allowable with UFH but it does reduce the heat output a lot.

But with the base load of heating on rads you still could have UFH and probably some wood floors. But do get maker's recommendations and carefully control the UFH temperatures.
