Builders forgot to add perimeter support for Gypsum Fibrous flooring. I am hoping we could have heavy duty angle brackets in the gaps, from the wood above to support the edge of the flooring. The bracket would hang from the gap below the plasterboard.

I’m going to need a very heavy duty and thick angle bracket, I cannot find anything like this online. Any pointers?

UFH pipes are too close to perimeter need moving then you can lay timber support .

Plumber says they cannot be easily moved, without taking it all up and damaging the spreader plates, they are nailed in hard and pinch around the pipes - i.e. it’s effectively like starting again.

I have since found some angle iron steels. 25mm x 25mm x 5mm https://www.metals4u.co.uk/stainless-steel/c8/angle/c77/25-x-25-x-5mm-304/p1909. I just need to figure out whether I need 3mm or 5mm and what load this will bear, when cut into small strips to fit between the joists.
