Unable to Bleed Rads

Hello, When i turn the Key the whole lot turns (metal part and the white section).but nothing happens. In the Bathroom I am able to bleed the rad and the metal back part remains still.

Thanks yes I will get someone to hold the spanner as the rads are so close to the wall

Hello, well with my son holding the spanner and me with the key and jug we managed to bleed off the two noisy rads but alas they were only quiet for a few hours. With one of them we could not hear anything abd just had water coming out - any ideas on that? Maybe we should do it for much longer or could there be another reason they make such a noise? Thanks!

They make a loud rumbling/droning sound

It is a Baxi Combi - also does it matter if the valves are open or shut when bleeding off ?
