It's beyond that, as far as i can see. Other posts have been deleted that weren't remotely political in content, or controversial in character. I've seen them, and cannot discern any forum rule being broken.
Even the thread title has been changed to avoid upsetting some sensitive souls.

If you ask a sensible, but searching question that leaves the original poster at a loss to answer and looking silly, your question may will be deleted and the questioner banned from the thread or forum.
As you say, some words are not acceptable, but serious abuse, attempts to extract personal information or posting supposed personal information, and persistent extreme bigotry is tolerated with no apparent penalty imposed.
Nothing political in seeing a female police lady smashed full on in her face and her nose broken by a man, then the other thug attacking the other officer. Justice has not been served. What sort of message does this send out to all the other thugs.
