I am exploring under floor heating and complementing tiling options for my extension.
Not know where to start, how much to budget, would appreciate some pointers, specially suppliers.
Thanks guys

first..
what is the floor contruction..?

how big an area is it...loose or a matting sytem.. again this depends on size off area?

what type off tile are looking to have fixed to the floor?

lots off things to look into before even going down this route...

ps...its not cheap to run...

if still at build stage.. imo go for a wet underfloor heating system...

ok how thick is the floor 40mm or 75mm.

you will need to give a min of either 40 days or 75 days for it to dry out..

are you saying you have a wet underfloor heating system in the slab?

or are you going for elecrtic electric heating over the slab?

ps if its a gypsum concrete ie the 40mm thick slab you will need more prep work before fixing tiles..

what type of tiles have you got or looking at...porc/travertine/ceramic ect..?

is the concrete been poured...slighlty lost here on this thread, can you tell/say more??... :?:
