Just moved into our new house, which was built mid 1980.
The house is technically a bungalow, but with a large basement at ground level.
The basement has a concrete floor and plenty of ventilation but no heating. The ceiling is bare plasterboard.
I do not know what is between it and the floorboards above.
Can't tell what it is like in winter yet but wondering if it would be prudent to cover the basement ceiling in insulation foam sheets.
Am I wasting my time and money? If it would be a good idea, I will need to work out how to stick them up as the basement is split up into sections with brick partitions.
Thanks
