Underfloor heating (water) Thermostat replacement

Hi,

I need to replace the thermostat for my underfloor heating and would like clarification on which connections to use on the new thermostat.

I've attached two pictures the existing thermostat with the wires in place and the new unit.

I believe that
live goes to live (4)
neutral goes to neutral (3)
switched live goes to (1) as i think the valve will default to closed when no power

Is this correct?

I would have thought black with brown sleeve to 2, and L to L and N to N of course. But what do the instructions say?
