Underfloor heating

    So does zoning just mean that each room would be classed as a zone and then you put thermostatic valves on each rad to control each rooms temperature.

    In the area that I'm going to be putting a few rads, I was just going to have a thermostat on the wall to control the whole area.

    Please, please, listen to common sense and good professional advice.

    Fit a good quality boiler with weather compensation and thermostatic valves on most - not all - of the radiators. The weather comp will keep the boiler condensing most or all of the time.

    Those who knock this advice are just amusing and abusing themselves.

    Mystery i hope that wasnt aimed at me?!!! I totally agree with weather comp. ( As you know i have just purchased a new boiler for my own home)

    He isnt Swapping his boiler he already has it in place

    No, not at all, but there have been some strange posts in this thread.

    I am a great believer in simplicity, and the OP was being led into far too much complication, although he seems to have made a good choice in the end.
