Underground pipework

Need a bit more info.

Do you mean the copper is used actually underground or under your floorboards?

I`m guessing it`s existing Soft Copper - old unsheathed :lol: . Mine`s still a no . Use manipulative compression fitting made of non dezincifiable brass 8)
 
I wish people would explain the reason for their question.

That would enable us to better answer the question.

Well you can cut and solder a joint then.

But copper corrodes in soil without protection and moving it may cause more leaks.

Most would say its better to replace it with blue poly!

Nige, you still got Securex or PDM fittings lying around then :wink:
