Id like some advice please. I have an outside tap which is not in a very convenient location. I want to install a new outside tap on the side of my garage. The existing tap is fed from a 15mm copper pipe that runs down the wall outside (which freezes every winter, but can insulate this part) and then horizontal through the stone wall and ties into the cold supply to the kitchen sink tap.
I want to run a length of pipe from the existing tap (I intend to keep that if I can) underground and along to my garage where I will bring it up through the garage floor. The advantage of this is that I have a washing machine in the garage that could connect to this.
My query is what kind of pipework should i use in the underground section. I was thinking that a length of speedfit would work and be convenient, but should I insulate it somehow, or maybe just bury it deep enough, but Im not sure whether this is suitable for being underground. Their website doesnt help much.
