Understairs light

Hi, I have a small understairs cupboard that i would like to fit a 240v light and switch in. The cupboard also houses the fuse box so routing cables not a problem. I cannot see the cables for the lighting circuit as they all run behind the fuse box but i can obviously access the 6amp lighting circuit fuse. Can anybody advise me the best way to go about this please?

You might even want to consider an emergency light.
They work as a normal light and are handy if the light circuit trips at night.

Or if you'll never need the light on for long, use a non-maintained light through a switch mounted upside down, i.e. to turn the light on you actually open the switch....
